Daniel Xavier Francis

FRANCIS- Daniel Xavier, 66, of Milton, Queens County, passed away on August 8th, 2021, at Queens General Hospital, Liverpool.

Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Paul) Francis.

Danny was a jack of all trades and a master of many. There wasn’t too much he couldn’t do if he put his mind to it. He loved fishing, hunting and trapping. In his younger years, Danny worked for the Mosher and Rawding Construction Company and helped build the power dams on the Mersey River. Danny was very proud of his Native Heritage and was once featured in a documentary about eeling. He had a great sense of humor and a warm loving heart. He will be greatly missed by his family and many close friends.

He is survived by his wife Sherri; daughters, Lisa (Craig) Huskins of Liverpool, Linda (Pierre) Francis, of Châteauguay, Quebec; son, Lucas Francis (Jessica Howard) of Brooklyn; grandchildren, Gordon, Daniel, Meikka, Chase, Cole, Anika, Chenoa, Phoenix, and Alexis; sisters, Grace Francis of Wildcat Community, South Brookfield, Bernadette Graham of Halifax, Theresa (Burt) Starnino of Quebec; brothers, John (Janice) of Milton, Melvin (Rachel Falls) of Yarmouth, Stuart (Bonnie) of Vernon, B.C., many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by infant sister, Mary Jane; sister, Delores Rhyno; infant brother, William John; brother, Greg.
