FRALIC – Louise G., 73, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully in the Halifax Infirmary on Friday, August 13, 2021.
Born in Liverpool, Louise was a daughter of the late George R. and Maybelle G. (Anthony) Whynot.
Louise worked for Danny Seamone in her early years and retired from the former IGA Grocery Store in Liverpool where she worked in the office. She enjoyed shopping at Thrift Stores, reading and making flower arrangements. She was a past member of the Hollow Log Rifle and Pistol Club as well as the original Liverpool Privateers and a current member of Trinity Anglican Church and the Altar Guild.
Louise is survived by her sisters Mary Plummer of Brooklyn, Susan (Wilson) Oickle of Milton and Vicky Schrader of Liverpool. Her brothers John (Peggy) of Milton, Ross (Barbara) of Liverpool.
Besides her parents, Louise was predeceased by her husband Dennis, her sister Gail Whynot and her brothers Robert and Peter.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 6 until 8 p.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral Service will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in Trinity Anglican Church, Liverpool. Reverend Cherry Workman officiating assisted by Reverend Judy Cross. Burial will be in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bog Road, Liverpool. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Trinity Anglican Church, Liverpool, NS. All those planning to attend Louise’s service are asked to bring their own mask, practice social distancing wherever possible, hand sanitize and provide contact tracing information at the door.
