Fralic, Carole Ann, age 83, of Brooklyn, Queens County, passed away on Monday June 27, 2022 in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, N.S., surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Liverpool, Carole Ann was a daughter of the late Harry and Verta (Spinks) Silmarie.
Carole Ann had a deep faith in God and was an active member of the Brooklyn United Baptist Church, serving on many committees and groups over the years. She was a member of the WMS and the Rebekah Lodge #38. Carole Ann was employed for many years as a home support worker until her retirement. Carole Ann and Aubrey volunteered for many years helping with the local Meals On Wheels, delivering food to local seniors homes. She was deeply loved and brought immense joy to those around her, with an uncanny ability to make anyone laugh. Carole Ann loved to laugh and was always the life of the party and a true prankster.
Carole Ann is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Aubrey; daughters, Lisa Blackett of Sussex, N.B., Bethany (Keith) Hubbard of Hampton, N.B.; sons, David (Rose) MacGowan of Hamilton, Ont., Duane (Marie) MacGowan of Cold Lake, Alberta; sister, Debbie Silmarie of Liverpool; with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Carole Ann was predeceased by a stepson, Stephen Fralic and a brother, Wilfred.
A private family service will be held at a later date in Seaside Cemetery, Brooklyn, N.S. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Brooklyn United Baptist Church, Queens General Hospital Foundation or to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made to wwwchandlersfuneral.com
