Barbara Iris Frail

FRAIL – Barbara I., 61, of Harmony, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Monday, March 21, 2022 with her family by her side.
Born in Caledonia, Queens County, Barbara was a daughter of the late Francis and Blanche (Mahoney) Conway.
Barb came from a big family of 12 children; 7 girls and 5 boys. She was married to Ricky, who together enjoyed fishing, especially on Turtle Lake, and any time they could manage to spend with one another. If you couldn’t find her home, you could find her going to town with Jenny, or going on Medway excursions with Gary, Jessie, and Rick. She was always so interested and concerned with her grandchildren, of which she had 6 and one great grand daughter. Her family could be described as her “life”. Barb will forever be remembered for her honesty, dry and witty humor, and welcoming everyone into her home with open arms.
Barbara is survived by her husband Richard, her daughter Jennifer (Michael) Reeves of Caledonia, her son Gary (Jessica) of Harmony; her grandchildren Emma, Riley, Gracie, Devin, Mackenzie and Munroe; her great granddaughter Harper. Her sisters Margaret (Peter) Waterman of Caledonia; Geraldine (Raymond) Crouse of Upper Cornwall; Sandra (Bern) Power of Caledonia; Merna (Jerry Muzzerall) of West Caledonia; Glenda Conway of Bridgewater. Her brothers John and Donald (Anna), both of West Caledonia; Gerald (Kathy Bungay) of Bridgewater; Michael (Marie) of West Caledonia.
Besides her parents, Barbara was predeceased b y her grandson Maverick; her sister Frances Forrest and her brother Roger.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. A memorial service for Barbara will be held Monday, March 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at North Queens Fire Hall, Caledonia, NS. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Westfield.
