Gordon Oraville Fisher

FISHER – Gordon O., 80, of Liverpool, NS. passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, NS. On Thursday, February 15, 2024.
Born in Southwest Port Mouton, Gordon was a son of the late Pearle and Laura (Roy) Fisher.
Gordon was a fisherman all his life He enjoyed going to the camp, four wheeling, trout fishing and deer hunting.
Gordon is survived by his wife of 61 years Merle (Huskins); daughters Kelly Fisher of Liverpool; Paula Fisher (Curtis Curry) of Kingston, NS; sons Michael (Brenda Mader) of Madoc, Ontario, Daniel (Carrie Llewellyn) of Port Mouton; grandchildren Adam, Josh, Gordon, Alex, Danny, Kyle, Meikka, Jenna, Shailene and Ryan; great grandchildren Layla, Maya and Malcolm.
Besides his parents, Gordon was predeceased by his son Russell, his sisters Emmaline Whynot , Josie Malone and brothers Clyde and Herbert.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. There will be no funeral service as per Gordon’s request. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made below.
