Allan Leigh Fancey

Fancey; Allan Leigh, age 80, of Chelsea, Lunenburg County, formerly of North Brookfield, Queens County, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 26th, 2023 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Born in North Brookfield, he was the son of the late Victor and Elsie (Henley) Fancey.
Allan was the proud owner of his own trucking company that he operated for many years. He was a jack of all trades and a master of many, Allan didn’t know the meaning of the word can’t. He loved to work around the house on remodeling projects. Allan loved his family above all else and devoted his life to caring for them. He was always available to give a helping hand to anyone he found in need. Allan had a great sense of humor and a warm loving heart. He was always the life of the party and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Allan truly was one of a kind.
Allan is survived by his loving wife Candice (Wagner), daughter, Vickey Fancey (Kim Risser) of Blockhouse.
He was predeceased by sons, Derek and Carmon.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Hillcrest Cemetery, Westfield followed by a reception at the Westfield Community Hall.
