Elizabeth Jean Whynot

WHYNOT - Elizabeth J., 82, of Milton, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, on Thursday, June 6, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

                Born in Milton, Betty was a daughter of  the late James and Olive (Croft) Anthony.

                Betty will be fondly and lovingly remembered for her cactus plants, doing search word puzzles and as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

                Betty is survived by her daughter Erin (Jeffery) Ingram of Mersey Point; her son Larry (Wendy) of Milton. Her grandchildren Troy Ingram (Lisa Whynot), Cody Ingram (Kaitlyn Woodsworth), Jennifer Whynot (Dylan Roy), Jonathan Roy and Shelley Roy (Justin Wamboldt). Her great grandchildren Jackson and River Wamboldt and Bentley Roy.

 Besides her parents, Betty was predeceased by her husband Lawrence, her daughter Sharon Whynot, her sisters Sue-Ellen Whynot and Geraldine Wamboldt.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Milton Community Cemetery. No flowers, donations to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made below.
