Elizabeth Kathleen Gardner

Gardner - Elizabeth K, “Babes”, 81, of Oceanview Continuing Care, Eastern Passage, formerly of Brooklyn, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Oceanview on Sunday, March 23, 2025.

Born in Liverpool, Babes was a daughter of the late John Edward and Laura Maude (Bell) Carson.

Babes was a cashier for various grocery stores in Liverpool such as IGA, Disco, Save Easy and Superstore. She and her late husband Dick attended many variety shows throughout the area.

Surviving are her daughter Kathryn (Jeffrey) Hubley of Head of Chezzetcook; her granddaughter Melissa (Robert) Castonguay and her great granddaughter Lily. Her brother Robert (Linda) of Yarmouth; Her sister in law Kim Carson of Liverpool.

Besides her parents, Babes was predeceased by her husband Richard “Dick; her sister Lillian Fralic, her brother John Carson and her brother in law Carleton “Carman” Fralic.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. At Babes’ request, there will be no funeral. No flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society. Online condolences may be made below.
