Myles Wesley Dwyer

The family of Myles Dwyer of Milton, Queens County, Nova Scotia (formerly of Toronto, Ontario) is heartbroken to announce his passing on Monday, January 3rd, 2022, in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.
Born in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, he was the son of Wesley Dwyer and Isabel Lawlor.
He was predeceased by both his parents and his stepfather, Clifford Doucet.
He was the beloved husband of the late Martin Hilliard (d. 2020).
He is survived by his six siblings: Judy (Mike) of Montreal, Rick (Brenda) of Nackawic, Mona Lee (Richard) of Dalhousie, Peggy Ann (Gino) of Whitby, Karla (Simon) of Dalhousie, and Tammy (Eric) of Dalhousie. He was a sweet and loving uncle to thirteen nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.
Myles was a kind and gentle soul, well know for his grace and skill on the dance floor. He loved animals; many dogs, always in pairs, were fortunate to be part of the Dwyer-Hilliard family over the years, most recently Wylie and Jamie. He and Martin appreciated the slower pace of their retired life in Milton, hosting guests at their B&B and building friendships in the community. Myles could often be found on his veranda overlooking the river, with a dog on his lap and Martin close by, enjoying one of his favorite cigars.
A private graveyard service will be held this summer in New Mills, New Brunswick.
