Annie Bernice Dorey

DOREY – Annie B., 91, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 13, 2019.
Born in Mill Village, Queens County, Annie was a daughter of the late Farish and Adalaide Manthorne of Mill Village.
Annie worked as a housekeeper at the Mersey Hotel in Liverpool in her younger years, later in life she was employed with K.&W. Bookbinders on White Point Road, Liverpool. She was an active member of the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 50 years.
Annie is survived by her daughters Maryann (Eric) Whynot of Liverpool; Marilyn (Ivan) Huskins of Port Mouton; sons Carl at home and Borden (Barbara) of Moose Harbour. Grandchildren Daniel (Carole) and Jonathan (Holly) Huskins; Crystal (Shane) Inness, Michael Hatfield and great-grandchildren Maggie Huskins, Maxwell and Rozlyn Inness.
Besides her parents, Annie was predeceased by her husband Robert “Bob”, brothers Carl and Milford Manthorne.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com.
