DOBSON – David Murray, 68, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool with his loving wife Judy by his side.
Dave was a musician who was blessed to have made a life doing what he loved. He enjoyed photography, fly fishing and spending time at the cabin his father built. After being diagnosed with cancer, Dave spent one last summer at the cottage enjoying the beauty of nature and working on music with his brother, Steven. The song “I Did It My Way” describes his life.
Dave is survived by his mother Nancy Dobson, his wife Judy (Francis), his children Lisa and Jamie of Halifax. His brothers Warren, Alan, Steven, Neil and his sister Joy Melanson.
He was predeceased by his father Harold.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, where a celebration of Dave’s life will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. so people can gather to remember Dave in story and song.
