Judson Newman Daury

DAURY – Judson Newman,  71, of Liverpool, formerly of Port Mouton, Queens County, passed away suddenly in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax on March 28th, 2012.

              Born in Port Mouton, he was a son of the late Newman and Rita (Williams) Daury.

              Judson was a fisherman all his life. He enjoyed hunting, playing cards and doing puzzles in his spare time. He was also an avid Blue Jays fan and enjoyed a good “argument” from time to time. He loved to listen to music and attend variety shows.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne (Burgess), daughter Amanda (Michael) Conrad of Greenwich, Annapolis Co. sons: Wade (Darlene) of Milton, Steven (Cindy) and Darren (Stephanie), both of Port Mouton and Ashley (Nicole) of Milton. Grandchildren, Brook, Sara, Josh, Tasha, Jason, Mallory, Rachael, Kaileb and Olivia. Sisters: Virginia (Malcolm) Huskins and Merle Shephard, both of Prince Rupert; Judy Joudrey (Albert Pardy) of Liverpool, Karen (Jimmy) McKeown, of Massachusetts. Brothers: Curtis (Nancy) of Port Mouton, Warren of Hunt’s Point and Lowell of Prince Rupert.

He was predeceased by his brothers Loman and Wayne and nephew Shawn.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool where funeral service will be held Thursday, April 5th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Judy Cross officiating.
