Anna Kathleen Daury

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Anna Kathleen Daury, on August 7th, 2015.

Born on December 16th, 1937, she was the eldest daughter of the late Travers & Kathleen Allison.

During her working years she was employed at White Point Estates, The Quarter Deck and she was a long time employee of C.W. McLeod Fisheries. Mom enjoyed sewing, crocheting and knitting. She was the happiest in her kitchen preparing meals for her family or baking treats which she would happily deliver to family and friends. In her younger years Mom enjoyed camping with Ralph Sr. on family outings and in her later years with her dear friend Murray. She enjoyed sitting around the campfire, listening to music, drink in hand, with great company.

A very devoted mother, she leaves behind to mourn her sister Sheila, of Brooklyn, her daughters, Louise (Darrell), of Liverpool, Susan (Kenny); son Ralph Jr., all of South West Port Mouton. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Kyle and Brandi (Catlin). She spent many hours when the children were young having tea parties with Brandi and she and Dad would dance with Kyle to the music of Uncle George. The Apple of her eye was her precious great granddaughter, Tecoa, who she loved more than life itself. Tecoa’s Mom, Amanda held a very special place in her heart, she loved her like a granddaughter. Also surviving are extended family and many friends who loved and respected her.

She always put her family first, right until the end. She never wanted to burden anyone. She will always be loved and missed by her family and anyone that was fortunate enough to have known and loved her.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Clare Colp; second husband, Ralph Daury; sister, Linda; brother, David.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside memorial, will be held on Thursday, August 13th, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., from South West Port Mouton Community Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation. To share memories or condolences, please visit www.chandlersfuneral.com
