Janet Elizabeth Dagley

Janet (Cameron) Dagley November 26, 1928 – April 17, 2023
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Janet at Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro on Monday, April 17, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Alexander D. and Elsie (Croft) Cameron.
Janet graduated from the Provincial Normal Teachers College and spent many years educating students. Her last teaching years were spent in Liverpool where she retired. It was in Liverpool where she met Charlie, the love of her life.
Janet was very involved in her community through IODE, Milton Baptist Church and she enjoyed bowling and playing cards. She was a loving, giving person with a great sense of humour who made many friends who were like family to her.
Janet is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren. Sisters in law Harriet Cameron and Nettie Cameron, special pal Margaret Fisher and her friends in Milton and Liverpool.
Besides her parents, Janet was predeceased by her husband Charlie, her sisters Grace MacKay, Katherine Fisher, Margaret MacDonald, Mary Taylor and Bessie Sutherland. Her brothers Ian, Donald, Thomas, Allistar Cameron, John James and William Green.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A celebration of Janet’s life will take place at the Milton Baptist Church on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.. You are invited to meet with Janet’s family prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Milton Community Cemetery. Reception to follow in the church vestry.
