Leanda Joy Cunningham

CUNNINGHAM – Leanda Joy, 61, of Milton, Queens County, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at home.
Born in Liverpool, Leanda was a daughter of the late Clarence and Edith (Woodworth) Cunningham.
Leanda enjoyed gardening, being on the computer, going to yard sales with her daughter Susie and grandchildren. She loved her trips to Newfoundland with her husband George and was very fond of Elvis Presley.
Leanda is survived by her companion of 46 years George; daughters Susan (Jody) Allison of Port Mouton; Carolee (David) Roy and Tina Francis (Chris Daury), both of Hunt’s Point; sons Shawn (Jamie Bond) and George both of Milton. Grandchildren Julian, Bailey, Alysa, Remington, Ethan, Kristian, Skye, Chad, Summer, Hunter and Seth; sisters Rosemarie Haines of Mahone Bay; Judith Cunningham of Western Head; Valerie Flemming of Milton and Carolyn (Donnie McCullough) of B.C.; brothers Glenn (Janice) of Pleasantville and Sterling and Stephen both of B.C.
Besides her parents, Leanda was predeceased by her son Jason, her granddaughter Eva, infant sister Shirley May and brothers Daniel, John and infant brother Clarence.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, N.S. At Leanda’s request, there will be no funeral service at this time. No flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com.
