Croft, Bruce Edward, 58, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 4th, 2018, at Queens General Hospital, Liverpool.
Bruce was a son of the late Roger Earl and Mildred Louise (Whynot) Croft.
Bruce was a hard worker all his life, owning his own taxi service for five years, working for Charlie Giffin as a disposal engineer, Freemans Lumber Mill in Greenfield, N.S. as night watchman, Ackerman’s Building Supplies in White Point, N.S. as a laborer, also working for Mersey Seafoods, Liverpool and Medway Fisheries, East Port Medway to current day working for Clyde Whynot’s Recycling and Environmental Depot. Bruce spent many years with Queens County Ground Search and Rescue, CB club and was a ham radio operator. Above all, Bruce loved his family and his cats.
Bruce is survived by his wife of thirty years Vivian (Whynot) ; daughters Charlena (Jason Foster) of Liverpool; Amy (Peter Labour) of White Point; Kim ( Matthew Rhyno) of Liverpool and Dana of White Point; sons Stephen ( Teri – Lynn Harnish ) of Simm’s Settlement; Roger of Liverpool; Cody and David both at home. Grandchildren Hailey, Connor, Ryleigh, Chloe, Brodee, Tanisha and Nynah-May; sisters Phyllis (Ed) Whynot and Hattie Lowe and brother Lyman (Dianne) all of Milton.
Cremation has taken place under the directions of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. No service. A celebration of Bruce’s life will take place Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 2 until 4 p.m. at the Queens County Ground Search and Rescue, Liverpool, N.S.
