It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Louise Elizabeth Corkum, age 74. She passed away peacefully on Friday, January 19th, 2024, in her home in Danesville.
Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Freeman and Mildred (Slauenwhite) Weagle.
Louise has spent most of her 74 years taking care of her husband and children and in her spare time she enjoyed knitting and crochetting for family and friends. She also enjoyed watching the old shows on television.

Louise is survived by her children, Nancy (Meikal) at home and Vincent Jr. (Pam) of Lunenburg; sisters, Enid Veinot of Danesville and Elva (Newton) Blakeney of Bridgewater.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 46 years, Vincent.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. At Louise’s request, there will be no funeral service at this time. No flowers, donations may be made to the family or to SHAID Tree Animal Shelter. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
