Eleanor Blanche Corkum

CORKUM – Eleanor B., 93, of Caledonia, Queens County passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Sunday, January 13, 2019.
Born in New Grafton, Queens County, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Annie (Weagle) Corkum
Eleanor was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. To whom family meant everything.
Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Mabel Mansfield of Harmony Mills; grandchildren, Brenda, Brian, Rodney, Bradley, Chris, Glen, Allan, Donna, and Jaret; 21 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren. Her brother, Basil of Bear River and son in law, Franklyn Mansfield of Caledonia.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Joan Mansfield; granddaughter, Angie Mansfield, great grandsons, Patrick Mansfield in infancy and T.J. MacNutt; sisters, Irene Weare and Florence Knockwood and her brother, Roy.
Visitation will be Friday, January 18, 2019 from 7 until 9 p.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Pastor Royce Getson officiating. Burial will be in Whispering Pines Cemetery, New Grafton. Family flowers only, donations may be made to North Queens Nursing Home or to Whispering Pines Cemetery Fund.
