Barbara Pearl Corbett, of Liverpool, Nova Scotia passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in Queens General Hospital. Born in Milton, Nova Scotia August 22, 1928, to Bill and Pearl Dauphinee.
Barb was an excellent mother and loyal wife. She was very much a people person working at the local Post Office and later instrumental in the success of the family business. She was an active member and held office in the Women’s Business and Professional Organization. She loved country music and in her early years Saturday Night Dances. Barb was warmly welcomed at all the local suppers, community events and could always be seen browsing the craft show tables. She dearly loved supporting the local artisans and they loved her. Barb was always involved with her family and took a keen interest in many of their activities. She enjoyed boating and relaxing at their cottage on Ponhook Lake with Clyde and in her early year’s even trips to Kejimkujik trout fishing. She was a great family provider working many long hours so her family could enjoy the best. Barb’s greatest loves were her family and living life to the fullest.
Barb is survived by her husband, Clyde, her two sons Ian (Shauna) and Gary (Karen), her brothers Bill (Molly), Vaughn (Margaret), and Meredith.
