Cheryl peacefully passed away on 16 May 2024, with her family by her side at Hospice Halifax. She received much love and support from her family and friends during her battle with illness, she remained courageous and positive till the end when she closed her eyes for the last time.
Her greatest accomplishment in life was MacKenzie and Carsen. She met her soulmate Terry, love at first site. Never a dull moment at their house with the four beautiful children. Always travelling, going on adventures and making memories.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, enjoyed helping others, some would say she was sweet with a side of zest. Many of her friends were from an incredible 30 year career as a Registered Nurse.
She leaves behind her spouse, Terry Adams; Children, MacKenzie, Carsen, Nolan, Donovan (Tori) and her kitty, Charlee; Parents Ted and Carol Whynot of Liverpool; Sister Wanda (Stephen) Wolfe of Canning; Sisters by choice Tanya Whynot, Patty Whynot and Jessie Brown of Liverpool; In-Laws Terry and Cathy Adams of Yarmouth; and countless other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
She wanted all to know that life is short, memories are treasures, make them! “As Terry will say, it is not good-bye, it is see you later”.
Family would like to thank all that have been a part of her life directly and indirectly, she was an infectious woman and touched so many lives. As request of the family, no flowers please, donations can be made to Hospice Halifax in Cheryl’s memory. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Liverpool, NS, date, time and exact location TBD.
