Carol Christina Campbell

CAMPBELL – Carol Christina, 74, of Port Mouton, Queens County, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in QE II Health Science Center, Halifax.
Born in Port Mouton, Carol was a daughter of the late Abden and Gladys (Roy) Burgess.
Carol was a great lover of “Old Style” country music and enjoyed variety shows and going for her weekly shopping excursions where she could sit in the parking lot and people watch. She will be fondly and lovingly remembered as a private person who enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Susan and her son Ron (Barb), both of Port Mouton; her sister Lillian (Cecil) Bruhm of Hunt’s Point, and her brother Richard (May) of Italy Cross as well as many, many nieces and nephews.
Carol was predeceased by her husband Donald, her sisters Goldie MacDonald, Dorothy Purcell and Elsie Carrigan and her brothers Jordan, Manley and Albert.
A graveside service will be held Monday, February 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Riverhead Road, Port Mouton. No flowers by request, donations may be made to West Queens First Responders, Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
