Hollis Ladelle Bowers

BOWERS – Hollis L. 76, of Southwest Port Mouton, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Friday, February 26, 2021
Born in Southwest Port Mouton, Hollis was a daughter of the late Orville and Muriel (Williams) Roy.
Hollis loved to be on her iPad on Facebook. She enjoyed camping at Hibernia and shopping, but she also enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Hollis is survived by her sons Tracy (Kathy) of Mount Uniacke and Douglas (Tracey Anne) of Brooklyn. Her grandchildren Madison, Joel, Theresa, Brianna and Brooke.
Besides her parents, Hollis was predeceased by her first husband St. Clair Roy, her second husband Peter Bowers, her companion Ralph Baker, her daughters Laura Lee and Mary Ellen, her son Kevin, her sisters Mary DeWolfe and Patsy Allison and her brothers John, Melvin, Leonard and Robert.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Southwest Port Mouton Community Cemetery.
