Beulah Catherine Hunt

 Hunt - Beulah “Bea” C., 88, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens Manor, Liverpool on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

 Born in Liverpool, Bea was a daughter of the late Charles and Mona (Foley) Cowie.

 Bea graduated from Grace Maternity Hospital in 1956 and enjoyed many years of nursing, especially her time at Queens General Hospital in Obstetrics and her last years working with the VON on the South Shore. Bea also supported her husband, Robert and his career as a land surveyor and business owner.

 Bea and Robert were very active in the life of their church, Liverpool United Baptist and also enjoyed their community service with the Liverpool Kinsmen Club and K40.

 Bea is survived by her daughter Lorraine (Christopher) Ryan of Middle LaHave and her son Charles (Crystal) of Bridgewater. Her grandchildren Zeke (Brittany) Hunt; Eli Hunt (Bella); Adrienne (Galen) Novakowski and Hayleigh Smith. Her great grandchildren Russell and Angus Novakowski. Her sisters Una Roger of Musquodoboit Harbour, Dorothy Marshall of Bridgewater; her sisters in law Helen Cowie of Wolfville and Muriel Robart of Greenfield.

 Besides her parents, Bea was predeceased by her brother Graham.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. A private family burial will take place at a later date. No flowers, donations may be made to Queens General Hospital Foundation or Queens Manor, Liverpool. Online condolences may be made below.
