BAGLEY – Vera Kathleen, 94, formerly of Eagle Head, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Hillside Pines, Bridgewater on January 26, 2016.
Born in Port Medway, she was a daughter of the late Morris and Muriel (Parnell) Clattenburg.
Vera was an active member of the St. John’s Anglican Church council and enjoyed hosting them in her home. She was an avid card player and enjoyed a good game of crib whenever someone suggested they play. She also enjoyed a good game of bingo whenever she was able to go.
She is survived by her daughters Pauline (Mark) Farmer of Liverpool; Ruby (Lorraine) Hatt of Danesville; Jeanette Leaman of South Ohio; son Spencer (Norma) of Conquerall Mills; 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Cecil; son Roger; sisters Evelyn Whynot and Elizabeth Burns; brothers Harley and Everett.
Visitation will be Friday, January 29, 2016 from 7 until 9 p.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from St. John’s Anglican Church, Eagle Head. Reverend Bonnie Baird officiating.
