Arnold James Weagle

 WEAGLE - Arnold J., 80, of Liverpool Queens County, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024 in North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia, N.S.

 Born in Danesville, Queens County, N.S., Arnold was a son of the late Sadie Weagle.

 Arnold worked for the former Bowater Mersey Paper Company Limited, Brooklyn, N.S. in the Sulphite Department for many years up to his retirement in 2002. He was a former member of Mersey Branch #38 Royal Canadian Legion, Liverpool and also a former member of the Lion’s Club. Arnold loved to dance and listen to country and western music. 

 Arnold is survived by his wife of 56 years Carolyn (Huskins); son Shaun (Karen Manthorne) of Western Head, N.S; sister Diane (Jim) Gallant of Milton, N.S; brothers Gordon (Kathy) of Riverport, N.S., Wilfred of Middlefield, Henry (Sherry) of Bridgewater, foster brothers Elmer (Joyce) Whynot and Doug (Dianne) Whynot both of Liverpool, N.S.

 Besides his mother, Arnold is predeceased by son Dwayne, granddaughter Kayleigh, grandson Shaun, sister Marie Bollivar and foster parents Harold and Agnes Whynot.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, N.S.

 A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. No flowers. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or The Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made below.
