Blaine D. Allen

ALLEN – Blaine D., 52, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully in QEII Health Science Centre, Halifax on Tuesday, February 9, 2021.
Born in Liverpool, Blaine was a son of Sarah (Farmer) Allen and the late Wayne Allen.
Blaine was a former forklift operator for Bowater Mersey Paper Company Limited, Brooklyn. He was a gunsmith and was part owner/operator of Allen’s Gun Shop. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle especially on solitary rides on the back roads of Nova Scotia; watching movies; horror, action (but no RomCom!); working on computers and keeping Amazon busy as well as the local Canada Post outlet with his online purchases!
Surviving besides his mother Sarah are his daughters Jessica of Waterville and Samantha of Berwick; his sister Amanda Fancy of Iqaluit and and his niece Alyssa Fancy of Bridgewater.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. At Blaine’s request, there will be a private family service at a later date. No flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
