WAMBOLDT - Allan Lester, 67, of South Brookfield, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024.
Born in Caledonia, Allan was a son of the late Randolph and Anita (Lafave) Wamboldt.
Allan was a hard worker and held numerous jobs throughout his life. He was a surveyor, drove oil trucks, dump trucks and worked for Kejimkujik National Park. He also owned a wood lot. Allan was very sports motivated playing softball, basketball, hockey, gymnastics, darts and cards. Allan loved the outdoors and everything in it. He enjoyed camping and gardening as well as looking forward to his trips to both Newfoundland and Cape Breton where he enjoyed salmon fishing and moose hunting. Above all else, family meant everything to Allan.
Allan is survived by his sons Evan (Maggie Whynot) of Simms Settlement, NS; Peter of Ingonish, Cape Breton. His grandchildren Angus and Ada. His sister Elaine Frail of Halifax and his brother Louis (Charlotte) of South Brookfield.
Besides his parents, Allan was predeceased by his sister Kathleen Canning and brothers Richard and Clifton. Allan was also pre-deceased by his brother in law Russell Frail and nephew Elmer "A.J" Wamboldt.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. NS A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made below.
