Alice Virginia Huskins

 In the midst of our grief, the family of Alice Virginia Huskins, 92, of Liverpool, announce her passing on Friday, January 31, 2025 at Queen’s General Hospital, Liverpool.

 Born in Milton she was a daughter of Myron and Annie (Anthony) White.

 Alice was blessed to be raised in a large family with many sisters and brothers. 

 She had a busy working career over a 34-year period, first as cashier for Stedman’s Variety Store and then the Dominion Grocery Store. She also worked for Bowater in the green house and for 12 years as a custodian for the Milton Centennial School. Alice was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary Branch #38, a volunteer for the Royal Canadian Legion and a member of Milton Christian Church. Alice loved to work on jigsaw puzzles, play bingo, play cribbage, loved to dance, attend variety shows, and going for drives in the car. Alice loved to cook and bake and was famous for her peanut butter fudge.

 Besides her parents she was predeceased by husband, R Arnold, son-in-law, Arnold Weagle; sisters, Betty Miller, Lillian Croft, Margaret Lewell, Noreen Hyson; brothers, Roger, Myron, John, David, Ronald, Victor; grandsons, Richard Robart and Dwayne Weagle and 2 great grandchildren, Shaun and Kayla. She is survived by daughters Carolyn Weagle, Liverpool, Patricia Robart, Queens Manor, son LeRoy Huskins, Milton. Sisters Judith Hyson and Joan Weagle, brother Gerald(Kathy) White. Three Grandchildren Shaun Weagle, Liverpool, Sally Wolfe, Port L'Herbert, Amanda Huskins, Liverpool, One great grandchild Nathan Wolfe, Port L'Herbert. 

 Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at a later date. 

 Memorial donations can be made to Royal Canadian Legion # 38 or Milton Christian Church.
