Jean Alice Acker

ACKER – Jean A., The death of Jean Alice Acker occurred after a brief illness at the Sussex Health Center, Sussex NB on May 26th, 2011.
Jean was born in North Brookfield on March 3rd, 1927, a daughter of the late Percy and Lillian (Weagle) Trimper.
Jean served for many years the community of Caledonia where she lived and blessed all whom she came in contact with.
She will be sadly missed by her children: sons Robert (Mary) Acker of Montreal, PQ, Claude (Debby) Acker of Norton, NB. Daughter Ruby (Howard) Fraser of Prince George, BC. Her brother Vernon (Dorothy) Trimper of North Brookfield and her sister Dorothy “Dolly” Lutz of Windsor Junction. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her loving husband LeRoy “Ellot” and a granddaughter Robin Fraser.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31st, 2011 from 3 until 5 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 1st, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in Caledonia United Baptist Church, Caledonia. Reverend John Boddy officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery.
