ZWICKER – Marjorie Irene, 80, of Milton, NS passed away in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Thursday, February 8, 2024.
Born in Liverpool, Marjorie was a daughter of the late Pat and Marie (Roy) Wolfe.
Marjorie was an amazing cook! A skill that served her well while working at a restaurant for many years and keeping the bellies of her family and friends full. You could always count on her to make enough food to feed an army. She kept her cabinets stocked with chocolate and treats to give the grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than seeing a smile on their faces and ensuring they didn’t leave her house empty-handed! She loved to attend live music jams with her friends and she would easily make new ones along the way. Her warm spirit, friendliness, and laugh would draw people in.
She had a special spot in her heart for gardening and the four crows that hung out at her house daily. She thought of them as visits from loved ones who have passed on, Momma, Dad, Ernie and Jeff, and of course, she fed them too!
Marjorie is survived by her daughter Gloria of Liverpool; sons Greg (Cathy), Rayburn (Christal Gilbert) both of Milton; grandchildren Jeffrey, Josh, Courtney and Hayley; great grandchildren William, Celeste, Chloe, Nora and Nate; sister Gloria (Gilbert) Frank of Bridgewater; brothers Richard (Lynn) of Greenfield, Raymond (Evie), Johnny (Joanne) both of Milton; nephews James, David and Gregory; nieces Kerri-Lynn, Sammy-Joe and Kerri Alesha; great nieces Layla and Shaylene.
Besides her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Clairmont, sons Jeffrey and Ernie and her brother Larry and chosen son Ashley.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. Funeral service will take place Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11:00 am in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool, NS. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
